PLAYING RULES

Each team must consist of two players.

Subs can be used if needed as long as two people are present.

If a team of two does not show up the match will be forfeited. Please be on time for your scheduled match. Cornhole platforms will be placed with the front edges 27 feet apart The pitching areas are located on either side of the box, with the foul line being the line parallel to the front edge of the platform. A player may toss from anywhere behind the front of the platform from which they are throwing

* If a player steps outside the pitchers box or throws out of turn that bag will be declared dead and no advantage can be gained by the throwing team as a result

GAME PLAY

Before each match a coin flip will take place.

The winner of the coin flip gets to pick throwing first or which side to throw from.

*Each game after, the teams switch sides to throw from

*Each of the partners stand at opposite boards on the same side

Each match will consist of three games with each going towards your record Teams take alternate throws until all 8 cornhole bags have been thrown. Teams then count the points score during the round

*After scoring, the teams on the opposite end will then take their turns.

Play continues until either team reaches or exceeds 21 points

First team to reach 21 or more wins, points are counted after all bags have been thrown Score will be kept and agreed upon by each team

SCORING

3 points — a bag that goes through the hole completely

1 point — a bag remains on the playing surface, a bag that is hanging into the hole but does not fall fully through, a bag that stays on the board when lifted.

*Checking to see if bag is on/off board: players from each team will simultaneously pick up the front edge of the board. If the bag stays on it counts and if it falls off it doesn't.

O points — a bag that hits the ground or another bag that lies on the ground, a bag that falls off when the front of the board is picked up.

*A bag that bounces on to the board from the ground should be removed before the next player tosses

*Scoring is done by cancellation. The difference of both teams' scores is the score given to the highest scoring team. If both teams score the same amount, no team will receive any points The teams that threw first in the previous round throw first again
